Friday, October 14 is the deadline to enroll in an internship. On that day, you must bring the Enrollment Verification Form AND the Learning Contract to Girelle in Room 314. If you applied to a program and did not receive a response, then submit the Awaiting Response form.

1. May I sign up for an internship that is not on the list?
Yes but Girelle must approve the program. To have your program approved, email Girelle at girelleguzman@gmail.com.
2. The Internship Project is due towards the end of the semester, will you remind us of the deadline?
A reminder will be included in the Weekly Internship Announcement two weeks before the deadline. Students are encouraged to checking our calendar regularly.
3. There aren't any more appointments slots for Internships, what do I do?
New appointment slots will be published weekly on Fridays.
4. I need help with my application, what do I do?
Make an appointment in "College Bound". New appointment slots will be published weekly on Fridays.
5- Do the Wednesday Arts Programs in music, visual art and drama count for internship?
No. This year, the Wednesday are programs are considered electives. Students who enroll and complete these classes successfully will receive credit.
Female Babysitter Needed - $8.00 per hour
A babysitter is needed to pick a student in elementary school on Wednesdays at 3:10pm, get her a quick snack from corner, take a taxi with the student to Art School in Astoria and wait for the mother to get there at 6:00PM.

Volunteers Needed for Scholarship Fundraiser
Two motivated and energetic volunteers are needed to lead the Marathon Scholarship Fundraiser. Responsibilities include promoting fundraiser in homerooms and other meetings, making copies, collecting envelopes and making posters. Volunteer hours may count towards internship program.
